Our Battery Testing Setup

Equipment used (from left to right): 

  • Asus EEE PC connected to 4 digital multimeters: logging the voltage levels of the cells during the tests.
  • HP XE3 notebook connected to the RT-BMS for management of the charge and discharge levels.
  • Four VA-18B multimeters with USB PC connection.
  • The tested batteries with RT-BMS CBU modules and the RT-BMS Master unit.
  • 12V auxiliary battery to power the RT-BMS.
  • 2500W DC to AC invertor to create the loads for the cells.
  • 12V 20A charger to charge cells back to full.
