The physical disconnection together with the proper fusing is one of the basic principles of the proper construction of the DC circuits. 

Even though there are customers that buy the cells from GWL, very often there is no mechanical disconnection of the battery form the connected electronics. The customers buy the LFP cells, but they do not buy any relays or switches. So, at GWL, we wonder about the safety of such solutions.

The basic hint and advice from GWL are:  Make 100% sure you have a working mechanical disconnection of your battery pack powerlines.
