The voltage levels and the capacity of LFP cells

The graph shows the discharge of 8 cells of the 100AH cells at 0.4C. This graph shows that the cells are fully balanced and are identical in the discharge specifications.  The analysis of the graph allows to set the discharge levels (DOD - Depth of Discharge) for the operation of the pack:

  • 3.16V - 86% DOD
  • 3.14V - 93% DOD
  • 3.12V - 95% DOD
  • 3.10V - 96% DOD
  • 3.08V - 98% DOD

As explained previously, we suggest to operate the LFP packs at 80% DOD between 10% and 90%. This corresponds to voltage level of 3.14V for discharge.
