Question: We have a VIP customer that needs a large lithium battery pack to be delivered fast. Can you help us ship by air-cargo?

Answer: Please note that large capacity lithium batteries are limited by shipping in air-cargo. See the information about the IATA regulations.  Some air-cargo companies have decided to avoid handling lithium battery cargo completely.

GWL is shipping by ground cargo using the TNT network in Europe.

We also offer Air shipments to USA using FedEx delivery.

We do not offer the air-cargo shipping for regular orders to other countries at this moment.  However we will be happy to assist our customers in a solution for logistics to any location of the world.

The procedure follows this way:

There are several international shipping companies that allow for handling of special cargos and can provide a transport solution. You need to contact them in order to arrange for the special cargo arrangement.   Please note that you need to contact “the special cargo” departments of these companies, not the regular public service desks.

So as the first step, contact your preferred shipping agent and make your inquiry about the lithium battery special cargo shipping.

After you contact them, they will require details about your cargo and the delivery route and the timing of the shipment.  They will work with you to make a proposal. They will also need some additional documents for the confirmation of the safety of the battery products. GWL/Power will be happy to assist in providing these documents and arranging for additional consultancy services (as a paid service).
