The short circuit of 40AH cells - 2200 Amp reached!

The diagram on the left shows the data from a direct short circuit of the TSWB Winston 40AH cell. The cell was fully charged (even a little bit overcharged) to 3.4V volts of open voltage at the very beginning. 

Right at the start, the current reached the peak above 2200 Amps. As the voltage of the cell dropped, the current was getting lower. 

The 40AH is the smallest of the TSWB cells, yet able to make the peak of 2000+ amps. The large cells with large capacity would make even higher peaks. 

Note on the current measuring: the regular current sensors and handheld  meters usually work up to 400 or 600 Amp. In order to be able to measure and record the data - high above 1000 Amps — GWL Team has made a parallel wiring of three cables linked to 3 meters and 3 sensors - each for one cable. The total current is the sum of the three measurements. ????
