GWL/Power has installed the energy backup solution for a Waste Water Cleaning station in the natural park in Sumava Mountains.
Previously, with no backup solution, the waste water could pollute the water streams in case of long-term power outage. With the solution from GWL/Power the water cleaning technology will keep working for up to 2 days even when the external power supply from the grid is interrupted.
The solution is using 64 cells from TSWB. Interestingly, these cells have been recycled from the GWL/Power Bus project. They have been used in the electric bus for more than 9 years and after 9 years and driving 270 000 km, they are now ready to provide backup for another 10, 15, 20 years of their life with remaining capacity of 80% of the nominal value.
This shows the superiority of the solution from GWL/Power. While other companies are still experimenting about the theories for sustainable lithium battery life-cycle, GWL has been practicing the real projects with the green sustainability.
We will be showing more details about this project that serves as a reference for everybody to follow.
