The torque force for the tightening of the cell terminal connectors for  Winston Battery (TSWB) cells.

Recommendations:

• There is no need to over-tighten the terminal connections. That is why the lower value from the suggested range is preferred.

• The connection of the cells should be inspected every 3 months in mobile applications. In stationary applications, it should be inspected every 6 months.

• GWL highly recommends to perform a regular inspection with the infrared thermal cameras to detect any sources of poor connection or over-heating caused by the improper connection between the cell terminals and the wires or terminal connectors.

• Based on the long-time experience, most of the damages to the cells performance are caused by the poor connection and the resulting over heating of the terminals of the cells.
