ELERIX EX-T30K Lithium-titanate-oxide cell. Extremely powerful, yet small LTO cell with a capacity of 30 Ah. The advantage of these cells is a lower operating voltage (and the resulting greater safety) and very fast charging and discharging. Battery tests show that these cells can be safely charged with currents over 5 C and discharged with up to 6 C.

All ELERIX cells undergo rigorous battery testing in Tier 1 factories prior to distribution, including during production and before shipping. The ELERIX brand is distinguished by the high quality of its LTO and LFP cells, primarily Class A.
LTO (Lithium Titanate) is a very safe technology, with no spontaneous combustion, fire and explosion. The self discharge rate is very low. These rechargeable cells have no memory effect – the cells can be recharged at any state of discharge. Check the cell datasheet on this website.

Are you going to build a battery from these cells? We suggest using the cells in parallel to achieve higher capacity and be flexible in the matter of sizes, i.e. 60 Ah (2 cells), 90 Ah (3 cells), 120 Ah (4 cells) |
Take a look at using the long and short connectors for ELERIX 160Ah LiFePO4 cell EX-T30K.
The following chart shows the discharging capacity test. Even the Discharging current 1C and 3C in voltage range 1,45V - 2,8V.

Cells are precharged from manufacturer to conservation charge (usually 30-50%).
The cells have to be charged with low current before the first use.
The first charge should not exceed 0.5 C - eg for 100Ah cell is 50A.
For initial charging of multiple cells, connect them in parallel into a battery pack and the charger outputs should be connected to both ends of the parallel rows of cells.

We recommend using chargers specially made for LTO cells. First charge and initial balancing of the whole battery pack is important step towards long lifetime.
Alternatively you can use regulated (Laboratory) Power supply as initial charge tool.
