New product to make the life easier: Balancing board for 1~4 cells LFP (1.2 Amp)
Simple balancing board for 1S to 4S LFP cells. Connection by means of wires. Indication of the balancing by LED diodes. This balancing board can be used to balance LFP cells during the final part of t
GWL/Team is testing and verifying the functions of theSmart Pack Guard that works as theUltimate Battery Control System.
More details to come soon….. (sooner or later)
Even in 2021, there are customers who are just starting with the lithium battery technology. One of the most frequent questions is:“How long will my batteries last?”
Here, we have the answer from a real demonstration. The photo shows the test ofthe 12V battery pack by Winston Thunde
Question: I wish to compare three cells from different producers. All three of them havethe same 100Ah capacity, however one is 3.6 kg, the other is 2.75 kg and the third is only 1.98 kg. How to explain this?
Answer:Well, the higher the mass of the cell, the more powerful and more reliab

The primary setup of the GWL/Modular components as BMS-Basic.
The BMS Basic provides the “basic” or primary protection of the battery pack up to 16 cells. The management of the battery pack is handle by the CPM1 board.
One of the main advantages of theGWL/Modular solution is that it comes with a complete set of documentation. The goal of this concept is that the product is fully replicable and serviceable at any location of the world by the local skilled electricians.
This is the difference between the Modular –
Pin # 1 - Main Turn-on Impulse- 150 ms pulse to GND
The pin will be connected to GND for 150 ms when the board is powered on, or after the board has been reset (and restarted).
This pin is designed to give an impulse to the bistable relay or to give a power-on impulse to the auxiliary controls
The Emergency Voltage levels [U Emergency] are 0.3V bellow theUminand 0.3V above theUmaxlevels. They become active if the voltage of any cells reaches these levels for 30 seconds.
U Emergency (Min)
LFP: 2.5V, 2.6V, 2.7V, 2.8V
LTO: 1.4V, 1.5V, 1.6V, 1.7V
U Emergency (Max)

The AA cells are the primary one-time use cells. The nominal voltage ofthe AA cells is 1.5Vand their capacity in Ah usually not stated in the specification. It shows that people are fooled easily. ????
