Does this kit work direcly when connected to
230v grid?
Or do we need the microinverter gateway monitor device? In that case can we have access to this
monitor device via website? 
If we buy the monitor device, do we get all software to let it work?

Thank you for your question.
You can use this kit with or without monitoring gateway. The kit works properly even without any monitoring device but without any feedback to you. I can only recommand the ECU gateway to offer your full control of your system.
The monitoring send data via your internet connection to cloud to get collected information via web (as far as I understand, your prefered way).
Once the system is installed you will ask the producer (APsystems EUROPE) for making registration:
