How does it work?

One end of the cable is always connected to a power source (domestic socket or 230/400V panelboard), then passes through a control circuit (can be directly in the panelboard or can be placed in the charging gun) and the other end is fitted with a Type 2 (new vehicles) or Yazaki (Leaf, ION, C-Zero, Miev, Outlander and similar older vehicles) connector depending on the type of vehicle being charged.

Want to build your own EV charger? Check out our blog post -> How to build your own EV charger? The EVSE charger kit is compliant with the IEC 62196 standard. The use of PWM modulation (positive and negative) offers full support for TESLA cars. It is often installed together with Yazaki or Mennekes connectors.
