Product description

The SUN 2000 VA grid tied inverters with limiter (GTIL) is only connected to the boiler circuit and works only when the boiler is heating water (if its heating is switched on). Thus, the entire boiler is always consumed power, so that there can be no overflow to the mains (nor the indicating overflows). In the event of a failure of the system components (the boiler, inverter contactor), the system is in the no-current mode insured by the inverter overflow limiter.
The set is recommended for use in chalets and cottages, where there is low level of electricity supply, overloaded power grid or limited possibilities to use other sources for water heating.     The GF-SUN-2000G2 grid tied inverters with limiter (GTIL) work on their AC output only with the support of el. 230V grid. PV panels or a battery in the appropriate voltage range can be connected to the DC input of the inverter. An internal limiter for power overflows to the grid is included. All necessary data and parameters can be monitored and set on the built-in display.


    Monocrystalline Half Cut photovoltaic panel EXS-410MHC-W with peak power of 410Wp excels with unified silver design (frame, covered busbars, cells). The panel offers excellent power output throughout the complete sun spectrum, its durable frame, and structure is capable of holding heavy snow load up to 5400 Pa and wind load up to 2400 Pa. The panel is resistant to salt mist, ammonia, and blowing sand and therefore suitable for seaside, farm, or desert areas. The junction box is enclosed in the IP68 protective casing increasing its long term weather resistance.



    How it works?

    The maximum share of energy from the sun for water heating is is achieved by setting the heating time with the switching clock to circuit from the mains. The time interval of maximum of energy gain from the PV panels and the following the final water temperature setting can be optimised by the boiler thermostat. After the correct setting, the system provides sufficient hot water at all times of the year with the maximum possible supply from the PV panels.

    In order to ensure a flow-free mode, the offered set, a boiler with a heating input of 2 kW or more must be connected. In the case of a smaller output, an inverter can be used with a capacity of 1 kVA, in the case of a larger heating capacity than 2 kW, the inverters can be combined so that their the nominal output is always less than or extremely equal to the heating element.

    The power output from the substation is connected to the boiler inlet in parallel with the mains supply. The boiler also needs to be connected to the phase switched off by the thermostat (to the boiler body) the control output of the contactor coil that switches the inverter to the boiler.
