LTO cells have a lower voltage between 2.5 V and 1.9 V. This lower operating voltage brings significant safety benefits. In addition, LTO cells can be charged very quickly. Data and rigorous battery tests show that these cells can be safely charged at currents higher than 5C and discharge currents are also significantly higher. LTO cells handle low temperatures better than Li-ion, LeadAcid and other batteries on the market. Their frequent use in extreme temperature conditions is made possible by titanate nanotechnology.
